Fayetteville Public Utilities will be performing a major upgrade on our customer mail server Saturday evening, November 19th, 2011 starting at 10:30 PM CST. This work is scheduled to take at least 10 hours, but may take as many as 14. During this time customers will not be able to send or receive emails, nor will they be able to access the spam filter. No mail should be lost during this time, and external sites should simply delay delivery for the period our servers will be unavailable.
This upgrade is being done to improve mail server performance, as well as maintain the reliability and security of our email server.
